Joint Committee is a reggae/rock band out of San Juan Capistrano, CA. Their introduction on to the scene was by playing their first show to a sold out crowd with Grammy award winning reggae band, Steel Pulse. Since that first show they have warmed up the stage for 2 other Grammy winners Shaggy and Toots & the Maytals. Other bands they’ve shared the stage with include the Wailers, English Beat, Fortunate Youth, Third World, Pato Banton, J Boog, Big Mountain, Midnite, Black Uhuru, John Brown’s Body, Kiefer Sutherland, Dennis Quaid, and many others. They have released two albums which include their debut album “California Sky” and their sophomore release “Break Free”. The band is currently in the studio recording several new singles that will drop in late 2024.
